ACADEMICS & CURRICULUM
As a fully-accredited school, the Tidewater Adventist Academy academic experience offers Common Core-compatible learning standards in the context of a Biblical world view. We believe knowing the One who made the world helps us to deeply understand the world, experience a full life, impact the community, and know why it matters.
We start here because we recognize it's the foundation of all learning. The primary purpose of the Adventist Encounter Curriculum is for all students at every grade level to have a personal, deep, abiding relationship with God and to respond to His invitation to live out of the overflow of this relationship — to understand the truths of the Bible, to respond to Christ’s invitation to live in a lifelong vibrant relationship with Him, and be passionate about the salvation of others.
